THE SOUTHERN GAS LIMITED
The Southern Gas Limited, formerly AGL Resources founded in Cochin in 1963, is a Holding Company for American gas and electric utilities centered in the southern United States. The company's headquarters are in Atlanta, Georgia. It is a premier manufacturer and supplier of industrial, medicinal, rare gases, and related services, with 200+ employees in two major Indian states. There is no better supplier for all your gas needs than The Southern Gas Limited, which has 9 production facilities operating in the states of Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamilnadu.
In 2016, Southern Company acquired AGL Resources and renamed it Southern Company Gas.
Southern Company is one of the largest energy providers in the United States and is ranked 126th on the Fortune 500 listing of the largest U. S. corporations..
Nicor Gas in Illinois, Atlanta Gas Light in Georgia, Virginia Natural Gas in Virginia, and Chattanooga Gas in Tennessee make up the distribution operations. Natural gas pipelines, distribution facilities, and storage facilities are built, managed, and maintained by the utilities. They also react to and repair gas leaks and other service inquiries, as well as reading meters. The Southern Company Gas utilities provide natural gas to the majority of their consumers.
