Expanded perlite aggregate (EPA) is used as a heat & sound insulator since it is a lightweight material that ensures economic benefits in building & construction.
The global market for perlite is projected to grow at a CAGR of 6.3% from 2021 to 2025. The global market size of Perlite was estimated to be around US$ 1.4 billion in 2020 and is expected to reach US$ 1.9 billion by 2025. The growing construction industry will be the major factor in the demand for Perlite.

Moreover, Increasing new applications base of Perlite, such as eco-roofs, soil conditioning, waste-water filtration, etc. and government certification for its consumption is likely to act as an opportunity for the market in
The threat to the industry is the growing availability of some substitutes, such as Diatomite, Pumice, and Slag, Vermiculite, Coco-coir, etc.
