Summary of SBI Mutual Fund Cash Flow Statement:

1. Operating Activities:

   - Net profit before tax increased from Rs. 1,42,910.38 lakhs in the year ending March 31, 2022, to Rs. 1,77,086.71 lakhs in the year ending March 31, 2023.

   - Adjustments include depreciation and amortization, finance cost, employee stock option expenses, (profit)/loss on the sale of property, plant, equipment & intangible assets, fair valuations of investments, gain on sale/redemption of investments, exchange fluctuations, interest income on investments, interest on fixed deposits, other interest income, and dividend income.

   - Operating profit before working capital changes increased from Rs. 1,34,280.37 lakhs in the year ending March 31, 2022, to Rs. 1,59,652.79 lakhs in the year ending March 31, 2023.

   - Net cash generated from operations increased from Rs. 1,34,945.69 lakhs in the year ending March 31, 2022, to Rs. 1,63,643.60 lakhs in the year ending March 31, 2023.

2. Investing Activities:

   - Purchase of intangible assets, tangible assets, and investments occurred.

   - Proceeds from the sale of investments were higher in the year ending March 31, 2023, compared to the previous year.

   - Interest income on investments increased significantly.

   - Net cash used in investing activities was Rs. 97,339.23 lakhs in the year ending March 31, 2022, and Rs. 84,138.87 lakhs in the year ending March 31, 2023.

3. Financing Activities:

   - Proceeds from the issuance of share capital were higher in the year ending March 31, 2023, compared to the previous year.

   - Adjustments were made in relation to shares held by the Employee Welfare Trust (EWT).

   - Payments were made for the principal and interest elements of leases.

   - Dividends were paid, including interim and final dividends.

   - Net cash used in financing activities was Rs. 22,798.96 lakhs in the year ending March 31, 2022, and Rs. 17,164.42 lakhs in the year ending March 31, 2023.

4. Net Increase in Cash and Cash Equivalents:

   - There was a decrease in cash and cash equivalents of Rs. 210.36 lakhs in the year ending March 31, 2022, and a decrease of Rs. 510.37 lakhs in the year ending March 31, 2023.

   - Cash and cash equivalents at the beginning of the year were Rs. 411.07 lakhs in the year ending March 31, 2022, and Rs. 921.44 lakhs in the year ending March 31, 2023.

   - Cash and cash equivalents at the end of the year were Rs. 200.70 lakhs in the year ending March 31, 2022, and Rs. 411.07 lakhs in the year ending March 31, 2023.

   - Cash and cash equivalents comprise cash and balances with banks in current accounts.
