In the fiscal year 2023, the company experienced significant growth compared to the previous year, as evidenced by the substantial increase in revenue from operations.
1. Revenue and Other Income:
- Revenue from operations saw a remarkable surge from INR 273.96 lakhs in 2022 to INR 655.70 lakhs in 2023.
- Other income also increased slightly from INR 3.00 lakhs to INR 3.43 lakhs.
2. Total Income:
- The total income (sum of revenue from operations and other income) skyrocketed from INR 276.95 lakhs in 2022 to INR 659.13 lakhs in 2023.
3. Expenses:
- Operating expenses rose significantly from INR 15.50 lakhs to INR 204.80 lakhs.
- Purchase of stock in trade also increased substantially from INR 2.00 lakhs to INR 357.71 lakhs.
- Changes in inventories of finished goods, stock-in-trade, and work-in-progress went from a positive value of INR 173.90 lakhs to a negative value of INR 18.37 lakhs.
- Employee benefits expenses increased from INR 28.24 lakhs to INR 36.65 lakhs.
- Finance costs rose from INR 0.21 lakhs to INR 4.30 lakhs.
- Depreciation and amortization expenses increased from INR 0.10 lakhs to INR 11.79 lakhs.
- Other expenses increased from INR 30.22 lakhs to INR 33.10 lakhs.
- Total expenses rose from INR 273.23 lakhs in 2022 to INR 629.98 lakhs in 2023.
4. Profit Before Tax:
- Profit before exceptional items and tax increased substantially from INR 3.73 lakhs in 2022 to INR 29.15 lakhs in 2023.
5. Tax Expenses:
- Total tax expenses increased slightly from INR 1.39 lakhs to INR 1.41 lakhs.
6. Profit After Tax:
- Profit from continuing operations surged from INR 2.33 lakhs in 2022 to INR 27.74 lakhs in 2023.
7. Earnings Per Equity Share:
- Basic earnings per equity share increased from INR 0.08 to INR 0.92.
- Diluted earnings per equity share increased from INR 0.08 to INR 0.53.
8. Total Comprehensive Income:
- The total comprehensive income for the period rose significantly from INR 2.33 lakhs in 2022 to INR 27.74 lakhs in 2023.
