Waaree Solar Americas Inc, the US-based subsidiary of Waaree Energies, India’s foremost producer of solar PV modules, has appointed Gordon Brinser as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Brinser brings with him a wealth of experience aimed at advancing manufacturing capabilities within the United States.

The company stated in a press release that Brinser, in his capacity as COO, is expected to play a pivotal role in steering Waaree Solar Americas Inc's operational functions and spearheading strategic initiatives to bolster the company's standing in the market.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Brinser highlighted the immense potential for rapid growth within the solar industry. He emphasized the importance of engaging with this burgeoning sector to shape its future trajectory. Brinser expressed his delight at joining Waaree Solar Americas Inc, underscoring his commitment to the company's mission of delivering sustainable energy solutions.

Previously serving as the Vice President of Operations at EnerSys, Brinser oversaw manufacturing facilities, focusing on streamlining operations and implementing LEAN manufacturing programs.

LEAN manufacturing is a production methodology that prioritizes the efficient use of resources, aiming to eliminate any wasteful practices that do not directly contribute to delivering value to the end customer.

Established in 1990, Waaree Energies began its operations in 2007 with a primary focus on solar PV module manufacturing. The company boasts four solar module manufacturing facilities in India and maintains a global presence.
