The Andhra Sugars Ltd., Tanuku, Andhra Pradesh under the aegis of renowned industrial personality Late Sri Mullapudi Harischandra Prasad. It produces 100% combed cotton and blended yarn.
Sree Akkamamba Textiles Ltd., having an installed capacity of 80,208 spindles, which include 41,900 Compact spindles, is well equipped with all necessary state-of-the-art machinery from world renowned machinery suppliers, Rieter, L.M.W, Schlafhorst, Trumac, Zinser, Trutzschler, Savio etc., It manufactures super fine and export quality yarn from 30s to 140s Counts in Combed, Compact, Autoconed, Spliced sirocleared. Utmost care is being taken in selection of right cotton based on the end use of yarn and duly getting it tested in the latest well equipped own laboratory. The quality of the product is being monitored at every stage right from raw-material to packing of finished product while using on-line and off-line modernized test equipment to ensure compliance of product quality to customer requirements. Trained work force is employed to manually pick out contaminations before release of cotton to the Blowroom.
