ABOUT  PURBASHA RESOURCES LIMITED UNLISTED SHARES  

Purbasha Resources Limited was founded in 1980 as "Prasannjyot Private Limited" under the terms of the Companies Act, 1956 as a private limited company, with registration number 32908 given by the ROC Kolkata in West Bengal on August 2, 1980.

The firm changed its name from "Prasannjyot Private Limited" to "Purbasha Resources Private Limited" after passing a special resolution at its Extra-Ordinary General Meeting on December 15, 1995.

The company was subsequently converted into a public limited company under the name "Purbasha Resources Limited" via Company Incorporation No. L65993WB1980PLC032908 and received a certificate from the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal on January 29, 1996, by passing a special resolution at its Extra-Ordinary General Meeting held on January 23, 1996.

The Company is engaged in investment and trading activities involving dealing in shares, bonds, and debentures. The Company is registered with the Reserve Bank of India as an NBFC.

Purbasha Resources Limited is listed on The Calcutta Stock Exchange Limited.

REVIEW OF BUSINESS OPERATIONS AND FUTURE PROSPECTS-

• During the year 2020-2021 under review, the net revenue from operations of your Company increased from Rs. 96.16 Lacs in the Previous Year to Rs. 490.00 Lacs.
• During the year under review, the total market value of quoted investments is Rs. 116.57 lacs as compared to Rs. 75.97 lacs in the Previous Year.   
• The total book value of investments is Rs. 1205.70 lacs as compared to Rs. 838.65 lacs in the Previous Year.
• The interest income on loans and advances is Rs. 33.16 lacs as against Rs. 31.68 lacs in the Previous Year.
• In spite of the loss in the previous year, the Company attained a profit post-tax of Rs.566.32 lacs which led to significant changes as compared to the previous year.
