The spinoff company is named MIL Industries and Aerospace Limited (MILIA).
The same Management, same plant locations, same key personnel, and the same culture of excellence, quality on par with international standards, now with enhanced world-class facilities, a sharper focus on flexibility in catering to customers’ needs, including the ability to develop bespoke items.
MIL is India’s largest and best-known industrial lining company (Rubber and Fluoropolymer), internationally renowned, and servicing customers in India and abroad for over 50 years.
The Fluoropolymer business (now MILIA) was set up originally in technical collaboration with Fluorocarbon Company Ltd, UK over three decades ago, to manufacture an extensive range of fluoropolymer-lined pipes and fittings, PTFE expansion joints, PTFE-lined Dip Pipes, Spargers, Thermowells, Plain/Corrugated PTFE hoses, and more. We actively and selectively seek technical know-how abroad for updating technology and bringing it on par with international standards, more recently for the manufacture of high-performance PTFE components for aircraft and rocket engines at the behest of the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC, ISRO).
MILIA’s manufacturing facilities are located in Gummidipoondi, as well as in Ambattur in Chennai, with in-house testing facilities, fabrication capability, modern machinery, a skilled workforce, and a reliable supply chain, helping us fulfill the needs of our happy customers. Both facilities are now flexible and can adjust operations based on project requirements in order to meet schedules.
MILIA stands by our customers, offering technical support and after-sales service.
