It was established in 1986 and registered with the registrar of companies, in Himachal Pradesh. The authorized equity capital of the company is Rs. 40,00,00,000 and the paid-up capital is Rs. 76,96,090. The old name of Bagrrys India Private Limited was Bagrrys India Limited
At present, it has two brands: Bagrry's and Lawrence Mill. The company is the second most popular breakfast cereal brand in India after Kellogg’s. Bagrrys includes a variety of healthy foods and breakfast cereals such as muesli, oats, corn flakes plus, choco+, bran, organic quinoa, chia seed, apple cider vinegar, peanut butter, and makhana.
In 2017 Bagrry's signed a distribution agreement with Nissin Foods, makers of Top Ramen noodles, to distribute selected products through their channel.

The competition in the market for High Fibre Health Foods and Breakfast Cereals has increased significantly at the local, national, and international levels, which may have an adverse effect on the Company's profitability.
The year began in India with a nationwide lockdown and severe restrictions on economic activity and mobility.
Additionally, the Company took several measures to support workers with essential supplies, medical care, facilities for safe worker movement to sites, and provision for on-site accommodation, where possible, to mitigate risks associated with activity disruption due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
