Vikram Solar bags order to supply 397.7 MWp solar modules to NTPC

Vikram Solar Limited reported this week that it has acquired a 397.7 MWp module supply agreement from NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd. Its modules will power a substantial chunk of Gujarat's enormous 1,255 MW Khavda Solar Project.

Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman & Managing Director of Vikram Solar, stated, "Our successful execution of numerous solar projects for NTPC has fostered a deep trust, built on a shared commitment to excellence."

Vikram Solar is headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, and has a total PV module production capacity of 3.5 GW. It is a 'Top Performer' in PVEL's PV module reliability scorecard and appears on BloombergNEF's Tier 1 solar PV module manufacturing list. Vikram Solar also has a 1.57 GW EPC portfolio that includes commissioned and under-execution projects.
