Tata Technologies, global engineering, and product development digital services company, announced on Monday that it has been selected as a strategic supplier by European aerospace major Airbus. Tata Technologies announced in a statement that the company would become an EMES3 strategic supplier, which stands for engineering, manufacturing engineering, and services.

A multi-phased procurement assessment process spanning seven months and involving all Airbus divisions, subsidiaries, and affiliates in the engineering, manufacturing, and customer services functions resulted in the award of this contract, according to the company.

"We are pleased to have been selected by Airbus as an engineering, manufacturing engineering, and services strategic supplier (EMES3) and we look forward to collaborating with them across multiple areas and geographies through the master supply agreement (MSA)," said Warren Harris, Managing Director and CEO of Tata Technologies.

"We are convinced that our production engineering capabilities will assist Airbus in developing better products and improving efficiencies in their company, and we are dedicated to strengthening our collaboration with Airbus over the next few years," he continued.
