Manjushree Technopack, a packaging solutions provider, plans to earn Rs 3,000 crore through an initial public offering after filing a draft red herring prospectus with the capital markets regulator on August 20.
The IPO is a combination of fresh issue of Rs 750 crore in equity shares and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of equity shares worth Rs 2,250 crore by the promoter.
The packaging company may think about using a pre-IPO placement deal to raise up to ₹150 crore. Such placement will result in a smaller fresh issue size. The revenues from the IPO will be utilized for general corporate operations, debt reduction, and inorganic growth through acquisitions and strategic initiatives.
