Cochin International Airport to double installed solar capacity in next 5-10 yrs

According to CIAL's Managing Director S Suhas, Cochin International Airport Ltd. (CIAL) intends to develop new plants in remote areas and double its installed solar power generation capacity within the next five to ten years, as reported by ETEnergyWorld.

Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL), the world's first airport totally powered by solar energy, reached another milestone in its green energy programs by producing 25 crore units and offsetting 1,60,000 metric tons of carbon emissions.
