Signify (Euronext: LIGHT), the global leader in lighting, has launched a TV commercial for its Philips HexaStyle LED downlight. The fun campaign highlights the new hexagon shape of these downlights and the designs that can be created on the ceiling using these downlights. Publicis created the 45-second film aimed at people building new homes or upgrading old ones.
LED Downlights are a popular choice among new home builders in India. Currently, they come in two shapes: round or square. Using hexagon-shaped downlights, customers can now create distinctive patterns in their ceilings that will set their home apart from the rest.
Basing the film on these observations, it captures various reactions of attendees at the host's housewarming party. Guests are entranced by the lights, but inwardly resentful of the host, making petty sarcastic remarks about his pay and financial standing to purchase such magnificent lights.
“Hexa Style ke designs ceilings pe hi nahi, dilon pe bhi lag jaate hai,” the host concludes, underlining that Philips HexaStyle's stunning patterns not only light your ceiling but also inspire envy among your neighbours. The TVC ends by emphasising the ease of installation of these downlights into standard round ceiling cut-outs.
